We live about ½ mile from several dairy
farms. I don’t mind. We really don’t smell them very often, and we like seeing
the cows when we go places.
One of the dairies refurbished some old
machinery used for bottling milk in glass bottles, and they opened a store
where they sell local milk in glass bottles with some specialty flavors. It’s a
cute little shop, and we like that the milk is from “our” cows. We went to
check it out when they opened, and they had some one-day-old calves that we could
pet. The kids absolutely loved it! They were so cute.
